A La Carte Services
1. Admissions Consulting
A) 30-Minute Strategy Session ($375)
Dr. Miller will first perform a comprehensive review of your resume, transcript, and application (where applicable). Then, via phone or Skype, Dr. Miller will discuss your strengths and weaknesses and provide an honest assessment of how you can maximize chances of admission. Topics to be discussed include pre-med course selection, MCAT, recommendations, where to apply, AMCAS personal statement, work/activities, secondary essays, interviews, and post-interview strategy. This is the best way to start with MDadmit and offers you a chance to ask all of your questions. It is never too early in the process to start strategizing for medical school and premeds in the first years of college are welcome to sign up for the service. Dr. Miller is happy to be part of conference calls involving both applicants and parents.
The same service is offered to post-baccalaureate and residency candidates, with personalized admissions advice provided by Dr. Miller after reviewing your credentials.

B) 60-Minute Strategy Session ($550)
The 60-Minute Strategy Session provides the same service as the 30-Minute Strategy Session over an extra 30 minutes. All in-person meetings with Dr. Miller require a minimum of 60 minutes.

C) School List ($300)
Dr. Miller will review your resume with GPA and MCAT, transcript copy (if available), and AMCAS/ERAS application (if complete) and then prepare a comprehensive list of schools where she believes you should apply.

2. Essay Editing
A) Personal Statement Edit ($725)
Two edits will be performed on each personal statement – an initial “macro” followed by a “micro” edit. Within each of these edits, the editing team provides the first edit and then Dr. Miller completes a second edit before the essay is returned to you. Thus, in reality, you are getting four edits (“macro” team -> “macro” Dr. Miller-> client-> “micro” team-> “micro” Dr. Miller -> client. In Dr. Miller’s over a decade of editing experience, she has found more than two edits are seldom necessary.
Dr. Miller edits personal statements primarily for medical school, post-baccalaureate programs, and residency, but also has significant experience with law school and college essays.

Two edits will be performed on each AMCAS/ERAS Work/Activities Edit. Dr. Miller’s edits are so comprehensive that a second edit is at times not needed.
To sign up for an AMCAS/ERAS Work/Activities Edit:

C) Secondary Essay Edit (1 per word)
Dr. Miller performs one comprehensive edit of your secondary essays with the goal of providing you with essays that can be used multiple times for different schools.
To sign up for a Secondary Essay Edit:

3. Enter the total secondary essay word count as your “quantity” (1 word = $1) and follow checkout instructions

D) Resume Edit ($725)
Two edits will be performed on each resume. Dr. Miller’s edits are so comprehensive that a second edit is at times not needed.

E) Letter of Intent/Update Letter Edit ($1 per word)
Dr. Miller performs one comprehensive edit of your letter of intent or update letter. The goal is to create a letter that, with very minor changes, can serve as either a letter of intent or update letter.

3. Mock Interviews
A) Mock Interview 60 minutes ($550)
B) Mock Interview 60 minutes with written comments ($675)
Mock interviews with Dr. Miller can occur via phone, Skype, or in-person in Washington, DC. During an initial mock interview, Dr. Miller gives immediate feedback on each question and will work with you to perfect your answers. Both the most common and most difficult questions will be asked, with half the interview focusing on ethical and policy-related questions.
For medical school applicants, both regular and Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) mock interviews are available.
